ASYMMETRICAL CHAINSTAYS
The Faultline's chainstays are asymmetrical, with an elevated straight stay on the non-drive side and a dropped curved stay on the drive side. The drive side must be dropped & curved to clear the chainring, but running the non-drive side straight from the dropout to BB pivot reduces weight while significantly stiffening the rear triangle laterally. This design also helps improve tire clearance.

When Team Jumbo-Visma decided it was time to race XCO, they came to us for the answer. The ZHT-5 marks a new era for Cervelo and the team, as we go racing together. Our engineering expertise has already been proven in cyclocross (R5-CX) and gravel racing (Áspero), and now we've upped the ante and designed a mountain bike worthy of the Cervelo name.
ZHT-5 is a Cervelo through and through: fast, efficient, and fun to ride. Milan Vader is a veteran XC racer and former Dutch National Champion. He was set to race the Z bikes in 2022, but a life-changing crash at Itzulia Basque Country meant his priorities were re-learning to walk and ride. He’s recovered phenomenally well and much faster than the doctors expected and will be racing the entire World Cup circuit this year.
